SOLOsentry4 Life Support system is the ONLY such system certified as CE PPE Category III approved, making it the system of choice for catalyst handling companies worldwide, and frequently making it the only Life Support system permitted by the end-user client for inert atmosphere entry.
Each technician wears a locking, two-piece clam-shell helmet with adjustable head harness and neck strap, integrated face seal with wide visor, incorporating an inner mask and two independently operating demand valves. A positive pressure exhalation valve is mounted underneath to keep the mask free from dust, debris and misting. The helmet also contains an intrinsically safe communications headset with twin speakers, microphone assembly and plug for connection to the communications line within the umbilical.
